Some cabinet knobs and drawer knobs are simply help in place with a screw and a wing nut on the inside of the drawer or cabinet, this only takes a few minutes to do, and many people find it easy. There are no tools required although you do need to make sure you get the wing nut tight enough so it doesn’t come loose.

There are many places where you can purchase door knobs and cabinet knobs, however for a better selection of cabinet knobs your best bet would probably be a home improvement store, while department stores of any type will usually sell door knobs in the hardware department, the drawer knobs you would most likely find at a home improvement store as well. Department stores won’t carry some of the types you are actually looking for and so the assortment to choose from could actually be limited.

You might want to even consider buying an extra just to keep on hand should something happen to another knob in the future, unfortunately one never knows when knobs are going to wear out. Drawer knobs usually last a long time and some cabinet knobs depending on usage. In most cases it’s the door knobs that will need to be replaced the most often, simply because we open and shut doors a lot. And that’s why they sell them in more places too.
